How do you deal with an angry Scottsman?

All hail Craig Ferguson and his fantastically logical and blunt way of thinking and speaking!
If you are a citizen of the United States and if you're old enough to vote this election year you have got to watch these two monologues:
Craig 9/10-11 rant Part 1
Craig 9/10-11 rant Part 2

He's not attacking one political side or the other. Actually, he attacks both sides in his fantastically logical and unique angry Scottsman way. Seriously, I haven't seen him this worked up since that one time where that airline lost his luggage and he had to rent a kilt while he was visiting Scotland.

But he attacks the media for their twisted way in which they're portraying the election - covering the clothes and hair of the candidates more so than what they stand for. He also gets pissy at the voters who don't vote because "they're not interested in politics" and the younger voters who just don't register in the first place.
That, I can totally relate to. I registered to vote when I was 18, right before the election of 2000/2001. But when I was going to the community college, the next time election year came around I was bombarded every day by people asking me if I'd registered. "YES! I'm registered so shut up and leave me alone!"

I also bow down to him for saying that people don't have to say who they're voting for. It's a secret ballot and it's your right to not say who you vote for. I wish more people would go by those guidelines. *glares in general direction of certain coworker* If they did, there'd be a lot less back biting and bitter feelings between people in general during this time.

But yes, watch those clips. They're funny and make a lot of sense.
"Do me the honor of being my fellow Americans and vote."

I've never gotten so political in my journal as I have in the past few days. Yes, when I get political it's incredibly mild and I just basically swipe what other people say. But if I've ruffled your feathers in any way, I apologize. These have just been some things I needed to say.

I promise though, next post...which will probably be in the next couple of hours judging from the amount of work I have to do *rolls eyes* won't be political at all. Just my regular boring self I suppose...
*hugs flist for putting up with her*
