(no subject)
He is a wizard...of sorts, his name is Glenn. :) I'm working on a short story so there will be more soon.
Oy, the week is almost over. I would say "finally" at the end of that sentence but in all honesty it's gone by pretty quickly despite my grumpy state of mind.
I think over sleeping this morning had something to do with it. I had my alarm set and everything. I must have been dead pooped because I don't remember turning the blasted thing off when it went off this morning. Oh, I know it went off. I know full well it did. The first thing I remember is the sound of kids outside talking. I remember thinking that it's a little too early for kids to be out playing. I don't usually hear any children at 'this' time of the morning. That's when the dread set in.
I looked at my oh so dependable digital clock and was horrified at what it showed me. 8:23am. For the record, I'm supposed to be in at work at 8:30am.
What went through my head at that point - and I knew I was still delerious then - was "Is it Saturday?...No, because yesterday it was supposed to be Thursday tomorrow so unless I've gone through both Thursday and Friday without remembering I should probably be at work....RIGHT NOW!!"
I got there at around 9am completely disgruntled, grumpy, and with a headache building up.
But it is over and you know what else is over...? Order of the Phoenix! I finished it during my lunch break. I am absolutely thrilled to read the last four now...backwards of course.
My MSN says that Dan is online but I've just taken to blabbering in a window all by myself. He's not replying. It's probably just as well.
I've been thinking about him quite a bit lately and I'm not sure why. It may have something to do with the fact that Cecily has taken to meeting a few guys that she originally made contact with online. ....I don't think that's it. But could be I suppose.
I was thinking earlier this week that the reason I'd been thinking about him so much is because something had happened to him. If anything like that did I would never hear about it until maybe a few years later I would think.
That was a yucky feeling for want of a better word.
But he is okay. He actually just started talking to me :)

Oh doctor! DOCTOR! *dies* Summer 2008?! That's SO FAR AWAY! I need some clean cut Christian in a suit now! *eyes the first film on her shelf.*
And loverly Zach soon to be Spock. Dost my eyes decieve me?! Eyeliner and mascara?!
Cecily actually thought of awesome name combos rather than the fan adopted "Zock" which sounds too much like "Sock" for my taste.
There's: Spylar, Sylock, or Spocklar. All three of which roll of the tongue and offer hours of fun for the whole family!
Ah, yes, I think I am in a much better mood after having finished that infernal book and also having replenished my much needed stash :)
