(no subject)
For some reason I feel the need to post even though nothing's really happened today.
I shampooed the carpet in the family room for Mom. It actually made a bigger difference than I had originally thought it would. Our carpet seriously needs to be replaced but it at least looks better now.
I then got ready and went to Cecily's where we watched a couple episodes of Jeeves & Wooster. Again, Hugh Laurie is adorable in countless ways. He as Wooster, is naive like Prince George but a little more on the smart side with a bit of the ditz mixed in there. It's quite funny, all the crazy Brit saying they make up there.
We went from Cecilys place to her friend Holly's baby shower. She's due on Halloween actually so they had a whole Halloween themed shower, which I thought was quite a neat idea. The "baby" poof theme has been so overdone anyway. Should I ever have a shower of any sort I would love to have a themed one.
Church tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to go to the rescheduled meeting tomorrow morning because I have got to save the gas in my car and Nataile's house is far out in the boonies from anywhere. I'd like to have the gas I've got left to last me the week. I am hoping I'll be working this coming week, wherever that will be, and I won't be getting a paycheck until the following week. My goal is not to have Dad put anymore gas in my car. He's only done it once this entire summer and that's going to be the only time.
I've been driving all over creation the past few days and I have to drive a bunch tomorrow too. I pick Katie and Crystal up and go to choir practice, then go to church, then go and drop Katie and Crystal off, and then go home. I'm not driving that car more than I have to this week. Period.
Now to post the voting for my icontests and check the laundry. How was your Saturday?
