SQUEE!! My header won for August! Winner results.
I made a Superman Returns one because I have to honestly say that I enjoyed that movie better than Pirates. There's more color to it anyway. I'm excited to see the layout she makes around it :)
We watched Sleepy Hollow last night. I was excited to see it because I hadn't seen it before and it was on TV so it was cut. Of course, Johnny Depp was incredibly sexy though he was rather pale. I loved the fact that he was squeamish and a "whoopsie" fainting all the time lol I like Chiristina Ricci but she didn't seem to fit the part. It may have been because she was so young and Johnny Depp was about 35. But when it comes to him, who cares? I wouldn't.
One of my favorite lines:
"I believe you are a witch because you have bewitched me."
Sean and Evan were watching it with Cecily and I and he made a point to remember that line for future use. But I pointed out that if he planned to use it he'd have to turn into Johnny Depp as well and then it would have the desired effect. Then Evan made another point that if he did change into Johnny Depp he wouldn't need any pick up lines.
That's when we ended that little conversation lol
During the movie I had remembered that when it came out all the Star Wars fans were excited because people were saying that Ray Park (Darth Maul) was playing the Headless Horseman. You can tell when you see the movie during the fight sequences and how he handles the sword when it looks as if he can't see anything. Another way you can tell it was him was that Ray Park is rather short and as the headless horseman he looks like a tall man without a head. Fit pretty well.
There were two people from the Star Wars universe and three people from the Harry Potter film universe in that film.
So I called Kelly Services, my temp service and they said they do have some secretarial positions open and that I'd have to send in my updated resume. I just did. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.
I really need a decent paying job, that's for sure and if I can get a decent temp one that at least keeps me busy for most of the time, I'm okay with that.
