Nose is stuffy and I'm out of tissues! GAH! Wind is going nuts. Started last night and still hasn't stopped. I had to keep a tweak on the steering wheel so it wouldn't blow me into the other lane. Now it's rattling the door and we believe either the loading dock door we actually use (heh, I almost said cargo bay door... NERD!) was blown around a bit or something was blown around on the roof. Either way we heard this huge gust come up and then this loud crashing noise in the general direction of the loading dock.
Am currently hoping that car does not blow away whilst in parking lot. When wind is this high it automatically makes office cold and therefore I've donned my sweater again...which could probably use a washing. *cringe*
Had a rather disturbing dream last night believing I worked at Penney's again ([Vader]NOOOOOOOOOOoooo![/Vader]) and I had that feeling of dread before I went to work. That oh so familiar feeling and it made me want to cry. I remember thinking whilst I was in the dream "Why am I still working there when I have another job?" et cetera. I was SO glad when the alarm woke me up, even though it was 5:20am.
We watched some of the Olympics last night. I'm kind of disappointed this year because I know I'm missing a TON of the events because I can't stay up to watch them. We watched some of the men's figure skating last night and I just have to say:
Evan Lysacek, you my dear totally rock and you're freaking adorable! (
click)
He skated beautifully last night but when you're faced with a Russian who lands quads and triples quite redundantly and flawlessly, there's nothing really you can do about it. I always end up swooning over at least one of the American skaters and I think he is it this year.
Now I know he was on the U.S. team but I can't help but be a little evilly glad that Johnny Weir didn't get a medal. The boy needs to deflate his head a bit. I think he's a fantastically beautiful skater, I don't think I've ever seen a man be so graceful, but he needs to find a slightly lower pedestal to stand upon.... like the 5th place one. HAH! *ahem* Okay, anyway...
Finally finished Bridget Jones's Diary last night. The ending was very cute, Darcy leaping into her house all dirty and sweaty with his collar unbuttoned *leaps upon him!* v. nice. But she pulled the same thing that Jane Austen pulls, the blasted NO romantic dialogue on the man's part at the end. All it was was something like "and he told me how much he loved me" blah blah blah. Irritating.
Now, some useless stuff. First off, YAY! We already have three entries @
fiennes_itest. I'm sensing this time around there will be a little better response. Woohoo! Also, Serenity is up for
voting, so go and do it! And finally, thank you
assainova for pointing
these out to me. 'Twas a lovely way to start work this morning :D
