went to the ghetto today. preetha and i were looking for friends to tell us about clubs. so we crossed the "tracks" and entered into the real ghetto. I am getting quite an education at the university of chicago. i just can't decide whether i'm learning more from my classes or all the people and things around me. there were some cute boys. i am so impressed in preetha's ability to walk up to complete strangers and make conversation. further, to get their phone numbers. smooth as shit. we are gonna party tonight.
also, I'm getting an apartment! signed the lease today. with sarah and these girls linda and trish. should be awesome. so close to campus, such a good deal, with cool people, and means ill finally have my own room.
