at laoshan, we came to a sign which forbade me from seriously shaking. naturally, though I had not hitherto considered the possibility, I was compelled to shake seriously. rebellious soul that I am.

a negative scan, shot on my huqiu 121 tlr, which has turned out to work beautifully. my only complaint is that it doesn't have a cable release socket, so for this one taken in the stunning yet extremely dark chasm that is 21 steps, I had to hold the damn little release tab down for four minutes without jogging the camera. which was stressful. think I've fixed a jig for it though.

forgot to mention that a couple weeks ago down at indian cliffs I had the privelege to fly with three bald eagles. one of the young ones was kinda spaced out, and spazzed amusingly when he/she realised I was there. and grasped menacingly with his/her talons (at which point all the ushga horror stories about aussies getting their wings slashed to ribbons by wedgetail eagles and subsequently plummeting at uncontrollable speeds flashed through my mind... but still!). it was awesome. of course whenever I fly with birds I don't have a camera...

...and my mouse has developed lupus. it is annoying me. damn yoooo, kensington!
