(no subject)
today marks the first time i have seen california/my house/my cat/my parents in 6 months.
aside from the woman at the security check point almost not believing that the person in my id is me and the guy at the x-ray machine thinking my inhalers look suspicious things have gone smoothly thus far. but confiscating those damn things given my troubles lately would have been like an emergency room sentence like whoa. so good thing we set shit straight right away.
i've only been here about 5 hours so far but fairfield has not let me down.
in other words, while i was innocently renting a movie 5 minutes from my house i noticed that a helicopter was suspiciously racing above me with a light pointing down at the street. i looked across the way and noticed four cop cars. the bank had been robbed. apparently for the 5th or so time this year. cool.
also, we now have two more new strip malls and they're trying to put in a wallmart but i think i voted against that one in the last election and apparently enough people here did too... for now. frankly, sometimes i feel like i life in the stereotype for new jersey. i
t saddens me but not enough to stop me from wanting to make jokes. i think everyone has the privilege of making jokes about their hometown.
okay, time for more fun with the fam. and maybe a free glass of wine or beer or something. one of the all time perks of course.
