Seriously, it's only 2 weeks into 2016 and so much shiz have happened yo. And just about time I start prepping my uni applications to Japan to top it off. Okay here's a thing: ( Read more... )
Hey there! I hope it's okay that I came over to your journal - I saw your entry for the Paana Playground giveaway and thought it was interesting.
I'm not sure if you heard, but SMAP is confirmed to not be disbanding! Hooray! I'm not sure why that was a thing in the first place since SMAP hasn't been super active other than their usual TV programs? I don't follow them too closely though, so don't quote me on that.
I kind of agree on what you said about Junno, but it's still heart breaking for me since he's my favorite KAT-TUN member. But then again he's leaving to work on his own life and clearly being a forgotten group in JE isn't what he signed up for when he auditioned. KAT-TUN had a good run with all of their variations, and since they decided to continue as 3, I'll support that too. Junno is leaving the industry as a whole because he wants to marry a girl he'd supposedly been dating for 8 years. It's more than understandable to leave for that reason given KAT-TUN's position in the agency and in the industry as a whole. It's just sad but also very bittersweet.;;
Uh,, sorry for the lengthy response. I can't believe I didn't even introduce myself!! I'm Pengu or Jacie, and as you can probably tell from my username, I'm a huge NEWS fan. I like most JE groups as well, as you could probably assume from what I wrote above... Um, it's late here and I'm probably only half awake, and this is probably weird and awkward of me to do, but you seem interesting and we seem to have quite a lot in common so hey, let's be friends?
Hi there! It's totally fine to drop by here so don't worry about it! And thanks for reading what I wrote there too ^^
Yeah I've heard about the news and I'm kind of glad they're not disbanding (I'm just too lazy to say anything about it >w<). Hmm, it's just my thought but it might just be a publicity ploy because it's their 25th anniversary and stuff but idk man, this is still messed up.
I know how you feel, bro. It's heartbreaking when someone you really love leaves the group. Well, I wouldn't say that KAT-TUN is forgotten (because well, there's still ABC-Z who didn't have a single for 3 years after debuting) but yep, they are definitely underexposed as a group. I'm hoping the 10th anniversary gives some more exposure for the remaining 3. As for Junno, I guess I'm just really worried on what he would do once he get out of the industry bc if he's set on getting married, that ain't cheap yo HAHAH. But let's just KEEP THE FAITH that he'll find out what he wants to do soon. (sorry for the pun, can't hold myself on that)
It's ok though, I like reading long responses! And hi there Pengu, my name's Abri! Kinda like you, I'm also that one person who just pretty much likes most groups in JE though there are some that I don't follow as much. And hey, why not? Ofc we can be friends! Nice to meet you too!
