And I Can Feel You Breathing....
So I had an alright weekend.
Yesterday I went to go see "The Passion of the Christ" with the family. It was a good movie, though bloody and violent. But you should be proud of me because squeamish me didn't even close my eyes for the gory parts. After the movie we went back to Jen and Ben's house and had dinner, and then my parents dropped me back off at the U. Practically everyone on my floor went out and partied, but I didn't because I'm a loser and I was tired. I was planning to go to bed early but of course I didn't.
Today I went to church and then waited and waited for Mike and Wookiee to come. They finally came and we went to brunch. Which wasn't that special because my Reeses Pieces waffle didn't come out right and they didn't eat too much. Then we went to the malls and hung out. They had to leave fairly early so we only spent like 4 hours together. But it was still fun..
When I got back home my mom had left me two voice mails so I called her. And we chitchatted for a little bit but then she said, "Laura, I have some bad news for you. Yesterday when we got home we found Tai dead behind the couch." Tai is (well, was) my 17 and 1/2 year old Siamese cat that I've had for like my whole life. He used to be an awesome cat but then when he got older all he did was eat, shit, and throw up. So he was really annoying and as bad as it sounds I kind of wanted him to die, just because I didn't want to remember him how he has been the past few years. But still, I'm sad and I cried when my mom told me. And I feel bad because I didn't get to say a last goodbye or pet him when I was home last, because I didn't think he'd die so soon..*Sigh*.
So...well this week isn't going to be too fun. I have a big Spanish quiz tomorrow, and a psychology quiz Wednesday, and then a big composition due in Spanish on Friday. Blehhh. But then Friday at 3:00, spring break begins! Yay! Althought it's going to be weird being home without Tai.. And I still don't know what I'm going to do while I'm home. Oh well. I'll figure something out. If anyone wants to hang out you know where to find me =)
