MML + NJ = good times

This weekend @ Seaside Heights with Michelle #1 and Michelle #2 = lots of fun! =) ...despite the cloudy cold weather.

Some highlights:

- getting lost 73849 times...we are so bad with directions!

- our ghetto (but expensive!) motel (or should I say, "otel" like the sign said?)...tiles falling off the ceiling, dirty tub floor, stained towels, door that didn't close right, TV that you had to lift the wire up to turn on, drawer that falls out of desk...need I go on?

- walking down the boardwalk 28247854 times in a time period of 4 days.

- Michelle #2's obsession with the fish-winning game (she won us each a betta fish, and herself two) -- which reminds me, the newest addition to the Ward family is my nameless fish (because you know that as soon as I give it a name, it will die). Here's what he looks like (the coloring is a little off because I couldn't use flash)

- Eating fried Oreos...we just had to try them. They were okay..just Oreos dipped in funnel cake stuff and fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar.

- "Hey, white girls!" --scary guy who also asked us to play gumballs with him and his friends

- being scared in the one haunted mansion...very freaky

- making the one ride attendent give us a free ride in this lame rocketship ride...at least it was free =)

- realizing (too late) the the ride attendants didn't really count the tickets...so we only got to gyp the attendants on one ride

- going to the beach and the water was freeeeezing and it was really cold out, so we never actually got to swim...how crappy is that?!

- going to see "The Notebook" - and it cost us $8.50 per ticket! We could have just snuck in for free with no problem [(*sigh*)]

- making fun of Michelle #1 and Dan (her boyfriend) who have each other whipped like crazy =)

- planning to go clubbing, getting all dressed up, and then finding out that all the places wanted a $20 dollar cover charge

So all in all, it was pretty fun. I'm quite a bit poorer, but it's all good =)
