Hey, Professor Zimmerman. This is Jim Shliferstein from your Modern European Politics course. Can I ask you a huge favor?
Can I have an extension on the research paper after all? I could definitely do a much better job given just one more weekend to work. To give you an idea of the situation I’m facing, here are the deadlines of the major projects in my five 300-level classes:
Turkey presentation 4/26
Modernization of the Mind paper (8-10 pgs) 5/3
Civil Liberties paper (10-12 pgs) 5/5
*Turkey research paper (5-7 pgs)* *5/5*
Civil War Reconstruction project (20 pgs) 5/6
Civil Liberties final exam 5/13
Econ final exam 5/14
Europe final exam 5/13 or 14 or 17
Modernization of the Mind final exam 5/19
Civil War research paper 5/21
I’ve been working non-stop for the past week, and I still don’t think I’m going to make it. About 46 pages are all due in the same three-day period.
