Crossing the border from Laos to Cambodia is the most sketchy thing I HAVE EVER DONE in my entire life. Holy God. It was literally a bamboo hut in the middle of the jungle. Yikes. Thank God I'm Canadian and everyone likes me and we had money for bribes. Some poor guy from Ghana or somewheres like that got held up bigtime because he already had his visa when he showed up and for some ungodly reason decided it would be a good idea TO HIKE THROUGH THE BUS WITH NO BAG to get to the border crossing.
Holy Man. This country is rough, rougher than expected but I'm sure I'll be okay. Wish me luck, I should be out of here in 4 days. We did not originally plan to go to Phnom Pehn but it just worked out that way. I'll be in Angkor in a couple days, then back to the beach!
