(no subject)
so, we were allowed to have two books autographed, and one to be personalised. and this absolutely anal assistant person was all "oh, no, it's ALREADY PERSONALISED" over my Terry Pratchett autograph on Good Omens, and i was FREAKING OUT because she was NOT LETTING ME ACHIEVE MY HOLY GRAIL when i was right there in front of him and hyperventilating because OMG I CAN ACTUALLY TOUCH HIM.
but he was all cool and calm while i freaked out internally, and he was "everything always works out so everyone's happy" in this absolutely calmingly zen tone and "oh, so Terry already signed it? well, then, i'll just add a footnote and personalise the other book."
and so, now i have on Good Omens "to zhiyi: burn this book" by Pratchett, and in pretty purplish-red fountain pen ink, "*apply Holy Match here" with a pretty arrow, by Gaiman. and i have a RAT DRAWING on Coraline, which is OMG HOW COOL.
and i am so obviously high.
