Midwest FurFest was a blast, as usual. It's one of my favorite conventions, and I'll always make an effort to attend it. Wanted to catch you on AIM but I've heard you don't really use it, so here will have to do.

1. As usual your photos are amazing. I notice that your MFF photos were all able to be individually saved, but every other gallery's photos were not. Is this intentional and if so, how come?

2. If you ever gave a photography for suiters panel at a con I would absolutely show up and take notes. I want to be able to take the kind of pics you do - unless I need a $1000 or up camera to do so, in which case I guess I'll have to be content with decent if unspectacular shots. I am good at composing a shot and getting the right pose, etc, but not so good with getting the right settings for brightness/exposure and other effects.

Thanks for the compliment, but... "amazing"? I don't think so. I made several silly technical mistakes for some of those photos, and I'm still not happy about that. I really should not have uploaded those shots because of the errors, but I managed to make them suitable for display through the 'magic' of post-processing. It's funny how self-critical most artists (and photographers, too) are. More often than not when I compliment someone on the quality of their photos they are actually fairly critical of their work. You may not feel your photos are amazing because you can compare them to something you know is better, or perhaps you know something you could have done to make them even better, but compared to 98% of all the fursuit photos that are posted? Yours are better ( ... )
