Abilities: Oh dear god where do I begin.

Sailor Pluto is the sailor soldier of time-space/revolution, being the child of Chronos, the god of time, and herself a carrier of the Pluto Crystal, which is basically the planet Pluto's guardian essence. Hence, back home where she comes from she has power over time, and has the ability to see and sense ominous presences through time-space (which acts as a type of clairvoyance). She can also travel (and allow others to travel) through space-time to the past/future/present/other dimensions/etc with little difficulty (this is not often despite what it might look like in her series); likewise she can close the passage off to other worlds and galaxies so no one can access or invade Earth from those places. She also carries a key-shaped staff called the Garnet Rod, which is her primary senshi weapon, a key to opening the Space-Time Door which she protects with her power, and her link to said Space-Time Door. In terms of sheer power, Sailor Pluto is the fourth strongest sailor senshi in the entire series; only Sailor Moon, Sailor Galaxia and Sailor Saturn beat her out in terms of sheer "holy crap my pants just turned brown"-ness.

As for her sailor senshi abilities, she must transform to access most of them via the power of the Pluto Crystal, using the phrase Pluto Crystal Power, Make-Up, and her attacks must be performed in conjunction with the Garnet Rod. Her attacks, in order of weakest to strongest, are Dead Scream, Chronos Typhoon, and her completely forbidden attack, Time Stop, which automatically kills her when she casts it. She also has a shield power, Garnet Ball, and in her sailor senshi form also has more agility, stamina and strength.

Yes, those are her powers and abilities as Sailor Pluto, the guardian of time, the daughter of time, etc.. But allow me to completely and utterly destroy them. MWAHAHAHA.

So, as with all people who have arrived at Star Kingdom, Sailor Pluto's powers have been affected, and in her case, due to her very connection with the time-space continuum in her world, they have been affected badly. Due to the space-time collapsing nature of her planet's destruction, resulting in the Space-Time Door being destroyed along with it, and also because strong evil does tend to impair her more god-like abilities, Sailor Pluto's time-space sense is completely off. Her ability to see into time is practically FUBARed to the point where she can only sense and see vague things about people (like blobs) unless they are particularly strong (and even then she can't define much, just "oh, this person's got power"). She has no way to properly measure time-space in Star Kingdom since her entire existence was about a completely different continuum of time-space which has just been ripped asunder, so her very circadian cycle will be off (staying up for days with incredible energy and then suddenly BAM sleeping for no explicable reason and vice versa), which will be VERY difficult for her to reset. She will feel sick and weak and not right upon arrival because of the destruction of her very product/power/charge/domain/whatever you want to call it and even after she gets used to it she will be chronologically screwed up in some ways (miscounting days, not being able to calibrate right, can't be clairvoyant-y very well, etc.). And this isn't even talking about her regular sailor senshi powers. Save for Time Stop, which will still kill her if she uses it anywhere, her senshi powers have been weakened considerably and are no longer insta-kill like they were. The only silver lining in this is that both her god and senshi powers are slightly stronger (like, 5-10 percent stronger) when she is on Mount Olympus, due to the sailor soldiers', and particularly her, connections to the Greek pantheon. Except this also might be a problem because - oh boy - something happened to her Garnet Rod (see Notes below).

Now, for her normal stuff, she knows how to sew and design clothing, and has a great deal of knowledge regarding theoretical physics. She also has experience in teaching and nursing, having home schooled Hotaru and also with her current job as the nurse of Juuban Elementary. And, she can summon the Garnet Rod in her civilian form (which her fellow talisman wielders are also capable of doing) when she needs to use it for consultation of any kind or for defense. Though upon arrival she will be unable to summon her Garnet Rod (again, see Notes below).

Background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailor_Pluto
Appearance: Setsuna Meiou Princess Pluto Sailor Pluto with the Garnet Rod
Personality: To those who do not know her, and those she doesn't know well, Setsuna can be distant, quiet, vague, even cold, calculating, ruthless and deliberately not forthcoming. Just in general she exudes an air of mysteriousness, knowingness, and is quite calm and collected most times, not jumping into battle without first having a sense of what she's up against, mentoring and advising quietly and subtly in the background. Underneath it all, however, is an emotional woman bound to duty, bound to her friends, especially one or two in particular, and - most importantly - her power, a power which she is well-versed in and which she knows the consequence of abusing. Nevertheless, she has abused it for the sake of those she cares about, as those few precious people are more important even than her own health and well-being.

This is due to the complicated, difficult, and most importantly long life she once led; quite literally, first on her home planet and then solely in the underworld when the Silver Millennium collapsed, she was a literal demi-goddess with a charge that demanded complete and utter solitude from everyone and everything. Sailor Pluto was unable to leave or do anything else that she might have wanted to do, which was to have something on Earth to fight for and to fight alongside the other sailor soldiers, but instead watch over the Time-Space Door. She very rarely recieved visitors, and when she did she was usually required to kill them without mercy due to the three taboos placed on her by Queen Serenity, the first being that no one was allowed to pass through the Space-Time Door. Her solitary existence was like time itself - intangible, omniscient, forbidden, incomprehensible and unrelenting - and forever lonely. She stood apart even in comparison to her fellow outer soldiers, who were allowed to reincarnate after the fall of the Silver Millennium into normal humans, whereas she was merely relegated back to her post in the underworld for all eternity. This resulted in making Pluto ruthless and feared, even though many did not even believe her to exist.

It was only when Lady Serenity (aka Chibi-Usa) came upon the Space-Time Door, that Pluto even had someone to talk to, let alone a friend. Like Pluto, Chibi-Usa was alone, set apart from her peers on account of her parentage and the side effects it caused her. When she found a kindred spirit, Pluto showed compassion and kindness to the little girl that she could show to no one else, teaching her a magic trick to cheer her up, and letting her stay with her near the gate whenever she was sad or wanted someone to talk to. Pluto even allowed Chibi-Usa to called her a pet name - "Puu". She enjoyed those visits, as Chibi-Usa was her only friend in all the universe.

In fact, it was because of Chibi-Usa that Pluto began to become more proactive - and ultimately break the taboos placed on her, as for the first time she had something - someone - to fight for outside of the Space-Time Door. When Neo-Queen Serenity tries to prevent Chibi-Usa from visiting due to the potential distraction, Sailor Pluto defends her and Chibi-Usa is allowed to continue her visits. Then, after the Black Moon invasion, Pluto doesn't kill Chibi-Usa even after she travels back and forth through time, instead scolding her and expressing relief that she was ok (while threatening to kill Sailor Moon for trespassing despite knowing full well who Sailor Moon was!). Then, when Chibi-Usa was brainwashed into joining the Black Moon and the future Earth began to collapse, Sailor Pluto broke the second taboo by leaving her post to confront and help save Chibi-Usa and the universe. Then, she stopped time, fully breaking her vows and dying, only then revealing how much Chibi-Usa had meant to her, as well as the fact that she had always had dreams and desires she could never fulfill in her position, though she is, as always, vague.

After Sailor Pluto died, Neo-Queen Serenity allowed her spirit to be reincarnated into the past, as Setsuna Meiou. As Setsuna, there are changes to her personality due to growing up a normal life before reawakening as a sailor senshi. While she is still serious-minded and liable to being distant at times when she is in civilian form, Setsuna is much more friendly and outgoing, showing herself to be quite intelligent, astute, and usually quite sensible outside of saving the world (though she has shown a goofy side as well, pretending not to notice boys lining up outside of her office); the comeraderie of the outer sailor soldiers - and also, eventually, of the rest of the sailor senshi - has allowed her to loosen up more. While at first she was still quite ruthless and willing to kill to save the world once she reawoke and remembered who she was - in particular she was willing to kill an otherwise innocent child due to the possibility she could become Sailor Saturn - in the end she and the other outer soldiers are unable to, due to the influence of Chibi-Usa and Sailor Moon and their own humanity in their present life. Even when Sailor Saturn asks her to seal her away alongside a monster, which would in effect kill Sailor Saturn, Sailor Pluto is reluctant to do so, and only does so after Saturn reiterates her demand.

Still, despite her now being friends with all of the sailor senshi, her connections are still strongest with Chibi-Usa, her first friend, and now Hotaru, the other child of the group, as, perhaps, in a sense Pluto herself is still a child in the ways of humanity. And even while in civilian form Setsuna can at times betray the fact she might know more than she lets on, moreso than any of the other senshi. The thousands of years of solitude and of being Sailor Pluto are still quite ingrained in her; there are times when it can be difficult to tell whether the Setsuna one is speaking to is in fact still the lonely, distant Pluto the senshi first met fighting the Black Moon, the one who could not and would not allow Sailor Moon to pass through the Space-Time Door. But those moments are merely the remnants of the past - Setsuna is content in knowing that this is her dream fulfilled, that finally her destiny is to no longer be apart from people, which gives her more strength that she ever had before (it's even implied that being reincarnated as a human to fight alongside everyone else actually did make her stronger and taller and so on), and the joys of being able to do simple things with others, having a family, having friends. And she knows also that she will fight on until her last breath to defend her existence and everything that comes with it.

Action/Journal Sample: [The feed is on, but there is silence before anyone speaks. When they do, the person sounds disoriented, weak.]

Something is not right. I...can't feel it anymore. It's gone.

[A second voice comes up. A moogle.]

Kupo? Is everything ok?

I must find the others...I must find what's happened. It can't be gone! Earth can't...can't be...the underworld...the door, I must get to the...

What can't be gone? Do you need help getting somewhere, kupo?

My friends...Small Lady...I need to find them...Please...if you're out there, speak. I can't sense you....sense anyone...space and time is...!!

[The voice of the woman becomes determined, despite still sounding weak.]

No. This can't be. I must fight. I must...restore...Pluto...cryst...

Aaaaah! Kupo, watch out-

[The sound of someone falling down. The communicator clacks across the ground, which causes the feed to turn off.]

RP Sample: It was long past midnight before Setsuna woke up. Waking up, she looked over and saw the pale moon shining through the window of her room, remembering how it had been Sunday morning that she had finally fallen asleep, succumbing to dreams of silent worlds and misted doors, the distant ticking of clocks echoing in her ears...only to wake up now, on Wednesday morning.

It wasn't right. They should have been able to sense an incoming enemy. There should have been signs that an enemy was approaching Earth. And if it came from beyond the solar system, she certainly should have sensed it. She was the first line of defense, the first planet an enemy had to come upon to invade from the outside. She should have seen it, should have been able to sense it much earlier, her, her, the-

Setsuna closed her eyes as she stood up, walking over to the window to open it. The streets of Traverse Town were quiet, a gentle window blowing through them. There were, however, some shadows which seem to flicker in the light of the street lamps; perhaps they are the ones responsible for the destruction of Earth. Heartless. Those were the enemy. But with the loss of the Space-Time Door, she had lost most of her power. Setsuna would have to become one of the protected, instead of one of the protectors. She was not able to fight them.

No...not able to fight them yet. But she was a sailor soldier, a defender of the future rulers of Earth. She was gifted with the power of her father, and of Pluto. And damnit, if it had been Small Lady here instead of her and Small Lady had been made to start over, Small Lady would have fought to save her. Just like Small Lady had tried to save her mother, and then Hotaru, and lastly Helios, even when she felt she was useless.

No...Small Lady. At this, Setsuna grasped at her chest. I'll do it for you. And for all of our friends. I'll learn and grow, and gain the strength to bring you all out of the darkness with my own light!

But first, she needed to train. And, she thought as she began to transform, those shadows darting around the street underneath her window looked like a good place to start.

Notes: While I would like her to be able to retain her sailor senshi powers upon arrival, weakened as they are and also because they're connected to her entire existence and bla bla bla, I would probably have to say that, with mod permission and just to compound her handicap, her Garnet Rod, which she needs to do her sailor senshi attacks, survived the darkness and is in Star Kingdom, buuuuuuut it landed somewhere in one of the worlds since she was probably summoning it before Earth got consumed. So when she arrives It would give her a reason to at least start training to acclimate herself to the new world and other weapons and other skills. It also gives her a reason to go a hunting so she can access her sailor senshi powers properly, mwahaha. >D
