Those bastards! They claim to have found Noah's Ark on a mountain in Turkey! No joke!
http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/04/27/noahs-ark-found-turkey-ararat/ Clearly, they are infringing on the copyrighted success of a story-arc from my unpublished Oliver Twist fanfic about orphanage bully Noah Claypole! It's called Noah, and it has a story arc, that makes their discovery a direct plagiarism!
Well okay, the fanfic is unpublished, only I have ever seen or heard of it, it's not copyrighted, and the character of Noah Claypole was created a century ago by Charles Dickens and I have no rights to him, and the legend of Noah's ark is thousands of years old and no one has a copyright on it, but that's not the point! This is causing my cats to commit suicide! Clearly, the turks are copying me! They must pay! BLAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding folks.
If you don't get the joke of my post it's because it's a reference to Turkey's now-infamous lawsuit against The Dark Knight(which I covered in the past) where a small province called Batman(est.1955) tried to sue the film for using "it's" name in the title, even though it didn't use the name in the title, the name has no copyright, and the character of Batman predates the province by decades(and possibly earlier) and no one had thought to sue them before despite the character's international popularity for nearly 80 years. Hey, Turkey can fuck around with logic for frivolous lawsuits, so can I.
Jokes aside, I've seriously been reading up on the history of Turkey lately, and this recent so-called biblical find just cracks me up to no end. The country is like a Youtube cam-whore and always has been, they'll do any crazy shit for attention. I bet you Jimmy Hoffa's corpse will turn up there next, and then they'll find his ghost playing poker with Bigfoot, aliens and some demons too.
Oh Turkey, you so crazy.
Craziness-wise over here in America, it seems the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake has been completed(that quickly?), and is premiering tomorrow. I always enjoyed that particular franchise more than the other big slasher franchises, but I always got sick of hearing those movie's fanboys trashing the older movies I loved from the 20's-70s and saying that they should be remade to be more like the Nightmare movies. *Heh* Now they know what it feels like now that their classics are being considered boring and outdated and are being remade. Karma's a bitch ain't it kiddies?
Frivoulous Batman lawsuits, countries that suffer from ADD, biblical artifacts turning up out of nowhere and Freddy Krueger movies are getting remade. *sigh*
What a time to be alive.
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock.........
