Just finished a nice little perl hack that downloads the rss feed for my LJ and then uses XML::Simple to output the last five entries cleanly as html. Then the text file is loaded into place on my website using server-side includes (like all the other content on my site). Modular coding ftw! Sure it could be more elegant and the code could be minimized, but I'm pleased. I'm in the middle of working on my new layout, but you can peek here. On a seperate note, i'm really not looking forward to work tomorrow. -_-
