Long Time
It's been forever since I've written anything here. Good reason tho, I was in Scarsdale, NY for a week, working...and I know Kristy HAS to be pissed off, or at least upset, that I didn't see her. And for that I am a schmuck...
Then I drove my little sister down to the ATL cus she goes to GA Tech. School started for her on Monday...School starts for me in 7 hours. I'm not real sure how I feel about it, cept I know that it's the only way I'm getting out of this shitty situation I'm in now. Being in Atlanta just reaffirmed why I need to move down there. Hanging out with Nick and all his friends that go to Tech was a ton of fun. The one thing I never really realized I was missing in most of my friends, is intelligent conversation. Honestly, I have all kinds of fun with my friends back in Charleston, but very few (not to sound like a prick) are all that intellectually stimulating.
It's been my plan for a while now to go to Tech, but after these passed 2 weeks down there, I'm definately much more motivated to go to school and get the hell out of Ohio.
Enough of that shit. Let's talk bout some music. I think I'm addicted to Perpetual Groove. I used to be obsessed with them, a little over 2 years ago. after the first few times I saw them. But, I kind of wandered away from them. Then, Will had me get some shows a couple months ago, in like, June, and I've listened to them repeatedly. I can't stop. I'm so pumped right now on them. And they're getting huge. Booking the same venue's the Biscuits play in the NorthEast, and PG's from Savannah, GA. Kinda nuts considering they played every week in savannah or charleston just 2 years ago, and now they're running all over the country on tour. If you don't know them, seriously check them out. I'm not even going to begin to suggest shows or anything, but I know alot of you douche's live in Athens...and they like to play the shit out of Athens. GO SEE THEM!
