"Half of the worlds sorrows are derived from false assumptions"
-Menken-
--i would have to assume that making a false assumption is just that, a false assumption. we are all inclined to go with instinct, after all, it is this that which makes us most comfortable, most sane, in making any decision. but for Menken to state he supposes that half of our sorrows come from false assumptions, i would have to agree with his assumption and instinctively make sense of it. as humans, most of us do not think before we act, and this has no direction other than a possible mistake in guessing the correct answer. the sorrows of the world maybe can all be due to false speculations, these false assumptions, but doesn't that statement alone define itself as an assumption?--
