cubs suck
ok, i am not one of those bitter sox fans that hates the cubs. i support the cubs when they are doing well, and i believe that people are just stupid if they dont want to cheer for a team in their city when they are playing well, and especially when they aren't even in the same league.
so i was at the game in milwaukee last night and first of all, zambrano gives up 8 runs in the 2nd inning. he was throwing groove balls. but what really gets me angry is how fundamentally retarded the cubs are. it is all bakers fault. neifi "i wouldnt play on any other team" perez made a stupid throw to third that allowed the runner from 1st to advance to 2nd. that run made a difference. perez should have held on to the ball.
what really made me angry was how corey patterson asks to be put in the leadoff spot, but strikes out twice, swings at the first pitch in 4 of his 5 at bats (a no no for leadoff men) and doesnt ever get on base. YOU ARE A BUM, PATTERSON. the problem is, they can't get rid of him because he may turn out to be another lou brock, a hall of famer that the cubs traded away for jack shit.
plus, they dont know how to bunt, which is my pet peeve.
