Kate has attitude issues along the lines of another brunette tv character and it's all tied up in trust. Blargh. But fun to play with.

Yeah, it was. It totally did not turn out like I'd first had it in my head, but I'm glad it worked :)

Hee, I was expecting a whole lot of "this better not happen in canon"s...Sad as it is, I think a happy ending just wouldn't fit these two.

That hurts on -so- many levels, but once again, it feels very real and emotionally 'right here in the room with me.' I feel so close to these characters that I hope there is 'escape' for both of them...together...in the end, but this feels very possible, and is so very well written.
