Love the prompt, though, and you've got to know - I empathize with Abby way more than it's sane, I ended up not liking Luka, and Joe was one of the cutest things ever! So, yes.

No worries, it's fine.

I honestly saw a happy ending for them, even post-Lubylet. But then the writers turned him into an asshole who felt it was fine to leave his family for months at a time, and her into like, the anti-Abby who couldn't handle being without a man without being a drunk and fucking her boss :/ After that, it was over for me, and I live in my pretty little land of denial!

Hee! Abby/Carol reunion would be fantastic! I don't know anything about the Grey's Anatomy people, but I'd be on board!
