Yes, that's the generally believed story. That Eddie forgot his line and Mary whispered it in his ear, and that when they looked at the scene realised it looked like Bill and Laura still in a bit of a muddle from the night before. Of course, this is another scene that's NOT ON THE AUSSIE DVDS!!!! /rant

Apologies for ambiguity. I still meant to imply it was the chief and Cally that he didn't know. I agree, on her own she's stunning, but the dress does render her rather unforgettable!
