POTD: The Desk Props Up Our OTP
I decided it's the school teacher in Laura that makes her take command of every desk she's around.
Dying, still a baby madam prez, but has the full attention of her soon-to-be previous crazy admiral and future adorable admiral. Even if he's acting really interested in his boot tips right there. But where did the new government get her lovely desk? (And how much weight does it hold?)
Baltar liked it enough to keep it around during his administration and it's still there for another round of Bad Boy has a Teacher Conference:

But my favorite part is how she takes over Bill's desk too when she's in his quarters. The teacher must have her desk. No wonder poor Bill can't get an upper hand in this confrontation and has to retreat to his lair, the bathroom.
You know that she's peeking in all those mysterious boxes on his desk when he's not around. I mean, before they have a fight.
In fact, it appears that she rearranges his beloved desk after moving it, but that's okay. Looks as though she was making room for her Billy picture. *sniffle* Props master went all nutter in this scene anyway, with all those empty bottles and vases to shoot distorted closeups through.
