I guess I always assumed they were drinking tea in this episode, but I think when contemplating the use of biological weapons to commit genocide, the occasion might call for something a wee bit stronger. What do you think?
Definitely something stronger. I would even venture to say Laura raided the oft-forgotten booze stash in her quarters for the occasion. (Sadly, most of the booze was ultimately consumed in the first two hours of the Baltar administration. But Laura did steal a bottle of ambrosia to take with her to Galactica as a token of appreciation for Bill for putting her up in his quarters before she moved down to New Caprica.)
I also have to say, "Foodie Edition," while intellectually captivating, has been culinarily disappointing. So little food in the foodie edition!
Hehe! Ooooh, wait, wasn't there an episode where Laura had like 10, 000 nail polishes on her dresser? Maybe she got Bill to paint them for her on their date night, heh! :P
Truly, would she sit that way in front of anyone else?
This. Laura has such proper posture when she is being "presidential" - when she's just being Laura (and only with Bill) her whole body seems to relax and soften.
