Collab with wunderkind_lucy! (Textures 057)
The lovely wunderkind_lucy had the wunderful idea to do a texture collaboration, so we each picked 8 images and went to town with our photo-editing software. You can find Wunder's pretties here (along with zips of the pictures we used), and you should definitely go take a look because they are beautiful and quite different from mine. :D (I feel the need to say that she finished hers first and it was dashed hard not to peek at them before I finished mine!)
The name on this one took ages, since I was in a melancholy mood (life! grudges! book endings!) and I couldn't seem to come up with anything. The end of The Squire's Tales has a phrase in Latin which I just assumed meant something like 'the end', but I did some research and as far as I can gather, it actually means something like 'the beginning of the story'. And that had me thinking about The Last Battle, in that the end is only the beginning. And of course, not only is Narnia one of the things Wunder and I have in common, it's the whole reason we know each other at all... So, that is a long rambling explanation for a simple name. ;) Without further ado, 'The Beginning':
