Well, the saga of Firecracker has ended. I wasn't a huge of the art at first, but it has grown on me. The story was pretty decent, and the twist at the ending was rather nice, what with the expectations of Firecracker's status and all.

Now, the new story with Gilda? That looks interesting.

I'm not sure if the Firecracker saga is quite over yet, or if the Gilda flashback is meant to flesh out what Harvey does next in the present day. We shall see. According to the latest one, there are two strips left to go!

One more strip left, and it looks like dynamite.

Slightly off topic, yet relevent to the blog; some years ago I was in California on a family vacation. Taking in a tour of Warner Brothers, we walked through the costume department. The costume that was mounted on a dummy and used as a example?

Two-Face's duel suit from BATMAN FOREVER.

Sadly they didn't allow photographs in the departments, else I'd share it with you.

The strip is finished! I'll be posting about it today, probably. Dunno if I'll have the time to do much in the way of commentary, but I welcome your thoughts!

And damn, I would have loved to have seen that tiger-striped monstrosity in person!
