Hey, it's been awhile since I posted another part of my series on all the Impostor Two-Faces, hasn't it? This next one is part of a larger story arc, Nightwing: Year One, which reunited the team of Chuck Dixon and Two-Face familiar Scott McDaniel

Also, if they ever do decide to update DITF, I think that it would be better to showcase it as the true aftermath of TKJ. Batman and Joker are both REALLY off their game after that surreal little experience at the circus - Batman's wondering whether any of his enemies have a chance at rehabilitation, and Joker's wondering why he acted so weak, so HUMAN, as to go for an emotional cheap shot and just shoot Gordon's daughter, not to mention trying to spoon-feed him his philosophy.
Joker hasn't talked in weeks, and eats very little - until one day, when Two-Face's mob break him out, intending to sell him to Quraci terrorists as an explosives/poison expert. Naturally, he slaughters his liberators, and decides to go with the terrorists on a demented little journey of self-discovery.
Also, the bomb that kills Jason? Joker snagged it from Two-Face's gang before he kakked them, so that Harv is Jason's beginning AND end.
Concerning the Robins, I see Dick, Jason, and Tim as the "old-school" Robins, who started with Two-Face (Dick and the double gallows, Jason and his dad, Tim and A Lonely Place of Dying) and ended with Joker (Dick and "Did Robin Die Tonight?", Jason and DITF, Tim and... dammit, they need to have some sort of dramatic story where Joker completely destroys the identity of Red Robin)
Steph and Damian are products of the 2000s, and as such, my respect for them is a bit... lower. They're the New-School Robins, with appropriately stupider villains and dumber, hollower Gotham.
(Though I have been kicking around the idea of Joker breaking into the Brown home and engaging Steph in a chat about Robins, and pleading with her to put on the Robin costume for just one night so he can say that he faced all five Robins - something no other villain has done.)

It's a real shame that Steph and Damian haven't faced off against Harvey yet. I feel like there's potential for the former, who--like Jason--is the child of a petty crook, so maybe there's some insight there. As for Damian... well, frankly, while I'd ideally like to see him humble the brat, I'd just be concerned for Harvey's survival.

That actually happened in a picture book featuring Harvey, you know.
