With about thirty minutes left before closing, Hannah walked around with a dust rag checking out various items. She picked up a
pewter figurine that happened to be one of her favorites. She'd bought it at a Muggle celtic shop. It was supposedly a wand. Still, she'd been drawn to the piece by the mixture of broom and witches hat. It was amzaing how accurate the symbolism had been considering where the item origniated. She smiled to herself as she ran the cloth delicately over the metal losing herself in memories of sortings and Quidditch.
When she finally looked up, Hannah noted that is was a few minutes past 6:00. Placing the figurine back on its shelf, she walked over and pulled the blinds on the windows so as to hide the inside of the shop from those Muggles still passing on the streets. Once the view was properly obscured and the doors locked, she set the broom and dust cloths in motion to finish the cleaning as she walked over to her register. Hannah opened the drawer and began counting her money. As per her usual routine she bagged eighty percent of her take. Before opening in the morning she'd swing by both Gringotts and her Muggle bank. The money would then be split 60/40 with the bulk going to the Muggle account to help support her father.
Setting the bag off to the side of the register, Hannah then turned her attention to her reading table. She hand buffed her crystal before shelving it for the evening. Then she flipped through her deck straightening any creases or erasing any smudges that had appeared during the course of the day. She loved the way her magic could be used to make her deck look new. Yet, she was careful not to make it look so new that customers would think her a novice.
Once she was satisfied that everything was ready for the next day's work, Hannah apparated out from where she stood beside her table.
