Hey everyone, This was sent to me today and I thought I'd share it with you so if anyone in the area is interested just contact tupelo_lights

Hello,
I am a student at Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., host of the
Civil Liberties and Public Policy
Program, which is the sponsor of the Annual National Reproductive
Rights Conference every April. I
found your live journal community through a friend of mine. (My
username is tupelo_lights.)

I wanted to let you know that part of the conference is an abortion
speak-out. We create a safe
environment for anyone (women and transgendered persons) who has had an
abortion to tell their
story. The event takes place on Friday, April 1st, at the end of the
day's activities. It begins with a
diverse group of speakers and then the mic is turned over to anyone in
the audience who would like
to speak.

As the conference is completely free, we have limited funds and rely on
the student organizing
commitees to do a lot of outreach, which is where I come in. Any kind
of plug you could give about
the conference and the speak-out through your live journal community
would be wonderful. More
information is available through the link at the bottom of the e-mail,
and of course you can e-mail me
with any questions.

Thank you,
tupelo
