share your story

Have you heard about the "Teen Endangerment Act" (I call it the Teen Imprisonment Act), which would make it a crime to transport teens across state lines to get an abortion in another state in order to avoid parental consent laws?

A reporter from Newsday would like to highlight what’s wrong with the Teen Endangerment Act through a story. She will NOT ask for their real name(s).

She is seeking either 1) a girl who had an abortion without telling her parents (traveling to another state would be a plus, but not required or 2) someone who helped a minor who couldn’t tell her parent in some way -- like a big sister, friend, aunt, step-mom, etc.-- especially if they ended up in a different state from their residence.

If you are willing to share or know someone who is, please CALL Shawn, at 215-843-0763. Shawn will connect you/them with the reporter. Or you can email me and I'll hook you up.
