I'm not deciding whether to get an abortion. I already know I am getting one.
With that said, I'll explain my situation. I am currently studying abroad in France and have already gone to a radiologist to get the ultrasound. The woman had to use what I'm going to call the "Dildocam 5000" because the embryo was too small to be seen, but it was confirmed that I am officially pregnant, 5 weeks.
I'm glad I caught this early because I have a couple of different options (THANK YOU FRANCE!). I can either take the RU-486 pill or get an EVA. I have done research on both but haven't been able to find very much about the side effects. I am a student right now and it is imperative that I maintain the ability to focus on my studies (especially this week, because all the major projects are due). So, I have a few questions.
What are the side effects of an EVA compared to RU 486?
How long does each procedure make you bleed?
Which procedure is more likely to produce symptoms of fatigue?
If I were to take the first RU-486 pill tomorrow, would the side effects set in before Saturday?
For the EVA treatment I have several days off in the next few weeks after this one where the procedure could be done, but I would prefer to take the pill this morning if the symptoms of it are not too bad. Any input is appreciated, but I really need answers to the questions above. Thanks.
