I've heard the argument of "post-abortion syndrome" in the past, and wondered if it was still being used. It's particularly interesting in light of the
most recent look into the supposed affliction.
Were there any prolifers here who used this as an argument against abortion? Does this change any minds?
So I would not say that PAS is a good argument against abortion across the board. It probably is a good argument for a woman who is likely to have a negative psychological reaction. That leads me to wonder how one would determine that a woman would suffer from these effects.
I would say, though, that there need to be counselors who are skilled in handling such cases (like, you know, REAL COUNSELORS/THERAPISTS, not just the preacher's wife or whoever), because some women will have issues after an abortion.
