I really hope this gets sorted out before my trip home over Christmas, or I'm taking the train to Paris and flying back to the US from there.
Obviously, we should all be very thankful that the terror plot was foiled, but I really hope the government gives the airports some seriously tasty grants / loans so as they can get the security equipment they need to allow us hand-luggage again, as I really don't want to put either my laptop or (more importantly) my key fob to get into my apartment building in the hold, or not take them home with me.
