back to school..
hm. so winter break comes to a close and tomorrow i have to organize my room and fully set-up my class schedule...with back-ups incase i don't make lotteries.
overview of the last few weeks:
wisdom teeth came out first day home...not too bad. recovered in a few days and visited with nj friends. tovah and ally came to visit and we make beaded necklaces as our holiday gifts to each other. yay!
florida: 1 week on sanibel. lovely. not too hot, but a relaxing stay nonetheless. kind of rainy some of the days. spent a lot of time watching mtv/going to dinner/lying on the beach/walking on the beach.
san fran: new years on the embarcadero. many throngs of drunk people-- and many drunk men groping girls. fireworks. way cool. saw lots of old friends in stay there. and everyone was so accomodating. great!
disneyland: flew with lo...breakfast with goofy (& friends)...lots of fun times in the land of "california screaming" and "soarin'" and "the teacups" and "matterhorn" and the new-and-improved "space mountain". yay for being a kid at heart. yay lo!
winter tri-co: motivaton for social change. feel like a new person. need to talk about issues like race and class etc. and keep the dialogue going and be productive in my life. i want to work to improve society. and remain aware. and increase awareness in myself and in people around me.
ok that's about it.
sorry to everyone for not keeping in better touch.
i will be-- it's one of my new year's resolutions. i will write more about my resolutions at a later point in time.
