NON-GENDERED IN THE UK

Now you can finally have your say in shaping future government policy!

The Government Equalities Office (GEO) has launched an online survey as part of consultation process for TransEquality Action Plan.

The government action plan proposes a long awaited and overdue breakthrough in that there is recognition finally that our needs have not been addressed.

I must stress it is VITAL that non-gendered human beings in the UK get involved and complete the survey.

It is through participation that we can increase our visibility as a group and inform the government about the measures that urgently require to be undertaken in order to address our situation and implement change that best meets our needs.

The survey that can be accessed from within an e-bulletin on the GEO website  http://www.equalities.gov.uk/news/transgender.aspx

The GEO request that surveys are completed no later than 6 May 2011.

Any questions relating to the survey or other aspects of the Government Action Plan should be addressed to Transgender@geo.gsi.gov.uk.

Visit http://elancane.livejournal.com for more information about the survey (and a warning about glitches in the system).

The denial of existence is the worst act of discrimination by the gendered majority against the non-gendered.
