Find contentment in your solitude kid. The act of clinging, of depending, may lead you to temporary faith in human connection but life cycles prove that it will be short lived. What do make of yourself when your identity is defined by what you provide to another? What happens when your left embracing the only body that will be ever-present in your lifetime, that of your own? Will you self-destruct? Or will you always go the safe route and settle for what is available as to avoid the facing of what you have become?
The mind wanders to the jealous realm that triggers the flood of distasteful images… and the phrase repeats. And in a broken record melody it deconstructs the pride you had been building up… “in comparison to…in comparison to…in comparison to…” And then you remember and you laugh, not to make it easier, but to mock that silly little kid you used to be.
The transition period almost knocked me down…but…phew…oh boy…I’m happy about where standing now…in comparison to…in comparison to…in comparison to…
Any of you :P
