[ It was several days prior that Itachi had left the sanctuary that was the cathedral -- leaving both Iggy and Eike to serve one another’s company -- as the Uchiha himself scouted throughout the environment that bore a mirror-like resemblance to the land he was in before the fist and sharp object had made its way into his chest.
The creatures that were scattered along the area were quickly eliminated as Itachi swept through the land. A few of said unknown creatures erupted into flames as others were torn to pieces with ease.
For a brief moment, Itachi sharply inhales, and he closes his eyes. The surrealism was almost overwhelming, being able to watch the others that did not meet the same fate as his own mutter with confusion - purposely Sasuke, with his overdriven concern for Itachi’s own well-being. But lips creased to let out a low sardonic breath as he leapt up a building and letting his soft, barely-audible, steps settled on the roof effortlessly. ]
