getting a real job
well, i just got off the phone with the people at Kaplan test prep. so i'm looking for a job teaching rich high school students how to score higher on a test to go to places with other rich college students.
it's apparently only 6-20 hours a week, and i've heard it's ridiculously good pay. and i can finally do something with my stupid SAT score which didn't get me anything else.
but it also means going to an audition. i have to come up with a random topic (not scholastic in nature), and present it for five minutes. so i can walk up and talk for five minutes about... well anything really. i'm thinking something involving video games, computers, or guitar, as those are the things outside of school i'm most comfortable with. but i really have no idea. any ideas would be appreciated. ugh.
oh, and i have to write a resume. fun.
