There's a pathetic city slowly rolling herself down the hall in a wheelchair. She can't really walk anywhere yet but she's bound and determined to at least get to the library to find something to read. She refuses to be this helpless.

As she continues slowly down the hallway, she'll look up and see, "Milton?"

Oh. Oh no. After what Madison so snarkily put things in order for her, she's pretty sure he wants nothing to do with her.

"Um...sorry."

Suddenly, that book just doesn't seem very important at the moment. She's going to try and turn the wheelchair around and go back to her room to hide but dammit all, that wheel is giving her trouble and not turning.

The brakes are still on. [ stating the obvious. ]

Looking down and frowning, she's going to flip them off and try and turn again...running right into a wall.

"Dammit."

Her eyes are not leaving her feet.

"Hi. I'm sorry. I'll get away from you. Sorry."

She's trying to get away and really failing. Damn that wall, why won't it get out of her way so she can leave him alone? She obviously upsets him. Run away, must run away.
