School+Christmas+Old Friends
I came out with a 3.4 for the semester..not bad but if it hadn't have been for that pesky algebra class it would have been better.
We did Christmas with my family tonight. Here is what we got.
We both got $100 from my parents, I got all the seasons that are out for Gilmore Girls and Davey got all the season out for That 70's Show. I got a new black jacket that is more for cold weather than what I always wear. I got like 5 shirts. 5 pairs of cute undies, a little nightie thing that my mom and I picked out which is actually more for Davey. AE perfume, make up, a new printer, photo paper, a new usb cord, that old Rudolph movie when I was younger in a pack with like the cartoon of Frosty and like three other movies, a $30 gift card to Bath Junkie, shampoo and conditioner (from my sister..she does hair so we get the really expensive shampoo), stuff to use when I use the hair straightner, and a few other things I can't remember. Davey got a really f-ing nice video game chair that you plug into the wall and your game system. It has surround sound, reclines, and vibrates. It is seriously just like you are in the movies. I want one now. He got some gloves, some stuff you put on your shoes so you can have traction on ice, coffee stuff, jeans, about 4 shirts, a really nice blanket, and some more stuff.
We did our Christmas too. I got him a boxed set of Lord of the Rings, it has all three movies extended versions and theatrical versions and a shitton of extra features. I got him a George Carlin dvd and the new Coheed dvd. He got me both seasons of Dead Like Me, Firefly, Disney's Robin Hood, 10 Things I Hate About You, Dane Cook, a Dane Cook cd, Death Cab For Cutie's Directions, 2 buffalo horn plugs (they are the hangey down ones that are really decorative) and a pair of ebony/bloodwood plugs that are amazing. He went about $100 over the limit so I have to go get some more stuff.
So far Christmas has been really good. School ended pretty good so I'm happy.
Jimmy and I have been talking a lot lately and at first it was really weird because I've maybe talked to him 3 times over the last year...but it's just like old times. He even plays WoW and we both made troll characters today and are playing that. I told him I'd make one his server just to be fair. It's actually really nice to be talking to him again. I told him to come and visit sometime and he said a roadtrip would be quite fun so we'll see.
