AN: This is a sequel to "Always" and it's a few years later after Reita and Ruki graduate high school. You don’t need to read "Always" to understand this story, but if you haven’t read it, you should read it anyways! :3
The sound of knocking on the door alerted Akira that his guest had arrived, thus he put his video game on pause.
"Coming!" He called out as he quickly jogged towards the front door in black, sock clad feet.
In a moment, a tall, honey blonde male was revealed from behind the wooden barrier who greeted Akira with a wide grin.
"Reita!"
"Yo 'ruha. Come on in." Replied Akira as he stepped to the side and gestured the man to enter his apartment.
The taller blonde, Uruha, was a friend of Akira's since middle school. The two were introduced to each other by Akira's now-lover, Takanori. The boys, to this day, have been very good friends and they even continue to use the nicknames they made for each other way back then: "Reita" was Akira's, "Ruki" was Takanori's, and "Uruha" was the nickname for Kouyou. However, Akira and Takanori mostly called each other by their real names - usually when it was just the two of them.
After re-locking the door and attempting to step over Uruha's haphazardly, kicked off shoes, Akira strode back over to the TV, finding his friend already lounging on the small couch with an Xbox controller in his hands.
"I see you've started the game already." Commented the honey blonde with a light chuckle, to which Akira replied with an equally amused tone.
"Yeah, I couldn't help myself, sorry."
"Can't blame you when it's a new release and all, I guess. Now get your ass over here so we can play!"

"Wooo! Another win for me~ Oh yeah Rei, so what plans do you have for Ruki tomorrow?"
"Wah? Plans with Ruki tomorrow?"
"Yeaaah, you know~"
"...."
"Jesus Reita...Valentine's Day??"
"Valent- THAT'S TOMORROW?!? OH FUCK URUHA I TOTALLY FORGOT!!"
One glance at Reita's face sent Uruha into a cackling mess on the floor. "HOLY SHIT REI! YOUR FACE- OH MY GOD IT'S TOO FUNNY HAHAHA"
"Oh shut up, Uruha! Ugh, I was so stressed with the store this week I totally forgot..." While the distressed man pulled at his bleached strands, the honey blonde next him simply wiped away tears from his hazel eyes.
"The hell Rei? Wasn't your store having a Valentine's Day sale? How can you ignore all them huge signs with pink and hearts saying (he states with a deep commercial-like voice) 'Romantic Movies and CD's on Sale for 30% Off!'?"
"Yes, I know, but fuck I was looking forward to having a break and gaming so much it slipped my mind when I closed up shop."
"Haa I see. Well don't worry, you still have the rest of today to plan it out, yeah? Wow it’s almost noon… Anyways, want some help?"
"Naw that's fine, I got it. Thanks anyways, bro."
"Awesome, now I can go play with Aoi~"
Rolling his eyes, Akira followed his friend to the front door. "Psh, I don't know if I should be offended that you'd rather hang out with him, or be disgusted."
Uruha merely giggled and shrugged his shoulders as he slipped on his sneakers.
"Let's hang after tomorrow then, yeah?"
"Yeah, sure thing. See you Uru."
"Bye~"
But before the door was closed, Uruha's blonde head peeped through the gap. There was a mischievous glint reflected in his eyes as he smirked at the shorter blonde, his face strangely resembling that of a duck.
"Oh and don't forget Rei..."
"..."
"..."
"......What?"
"Safety comes first." The honey blonde looked as if he were going to burst at any minute, "Don't forget condoms and lube!" he added with a loud, raspy whisper and an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
“Uruha!” The shorter blonde could feel his face heat up instantly, thus he proceeded to kick the taller out as he hissed a “Shut up you ducktard! I have neighbours with kids you know!!”
"Aye aye, Captain! Good luck~"
The door was finally shut and Akira dragged his hands dramatically down his handsome face.
God he's so immature! How can Aoi stand that duck?! But then again...that was some pretty good advice… He grasped his chin thoughtfully as he nodded in agreement to himself, Time to get to work then.
Akira then reached into the back pocket of his jeans and fished out his iPhone.
Damn, I remember Ruki mentioning a new spaghetti place...what was it again?
Today was a going to be a long day of planning as well as last minute shopping for Akira...
AN: I meant to get this out on Valentine’s Day, but then I developed a little writer’s block and school got in the way again. And then the ideas suddenly flooded in like a week ago~ I decided to make this a small chaptered fic instead of a oneshot, so that you don’t have to wait for the whole thing XD Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed it J Comments are love!
