(no subject)
Quick update before book club (we read Kavalier & Clay, my 2nd time reading it - LOVE IT!):
Living together with my husband is simultaneously the most challenging and most rewarding experience of my life thus far. Every single day, I discover something new about myself in relationship to him, and it makes me value our marriage even more! It is true, also, that I played four hours of Psychonauts this past Saturday - damn! That game is SO awesome and addictive! "I'll just play until the next level... well, maybe the next level is short, I'll play through that one... *two hours later* "... the next level..." etc. :)
I'm most likely going back to school as soon as possible. This commute (1 1/2 hours each way) is starting to take its toll, both mentally and financially ($200/month to waste 3 hours of my day? Thanks anyway!). I leave at 7:16 AM and I don't get home until 6 PM every day. Plus, if I stay late (and that often happens), I need David to come pick me up, which is a pain in the tuchus. So I've nearly finally decided on where I'm going to apply, and the plan (today) is to go for my teacher certification in high school spanish instruction. As soon as I get a job, I'll start thinking about completing a Masters program (in general administration, perhaps - I've been advised to think big by my mom's cousin who is a Spanish department head out in RI). So it looks like in a year and a half, I could be a teacher! Needless to say, I'm psyched!
That's all I have time for now, gotta go pick up a side dish before book club tonight. I love book club!
