I feel like my legs are having the worst hangover EVER. It does not help that I live on the sixth floor. Going up the stairs is cake, as usual. It's while i'm going down that I feel like I am in slow motion, because I am.
Skiing was great. It would have been better if I did not hike the wall the day before. I had no idea the boots would be so heavy. Jeesh, I felt like I had cement blocks tied to my feet and I was about to be swimming with the fishes. I was able to ski a little, had a lesson, in Chinese, that lasted an hour and I stayed on the baby hill. 5 of the 6 of us had never been skiing before. We thought we were going to be the only ones. There must have been 300 people there all skiing for the first time. It was pretty funny seeing everyone fall over themselves running into each other, myself included. Joanna, an experienced snowboarder tried skiing for the first time too. Melissa was the only one with experience. It was her third time. It really is quite an interesting sport that takes a lot of bravery. I would like to try it again if I had the chance.
I have some pictures but have not gotten the rest from Melissa yet. So here are pictures of random cargo as seen from the ride home from the wall on Saturday.
Those plastic bottles piled high, according to our driver, will each yield 1 mao, 1/10 of a kuai.
The picture was taken through the windshield, sorry about glare.
