Did you know... I had to go through that automated switchboard 3 times before I found the magic pathway that actually let me talk to a PERSON... and then I had to wait another 20 minutes listening to horrible hold music, all the while the computer voice would pop on and say, 'expected wait times are longer than usual, if you'd like to call back: wed-fri when we offer more call representatives or use our automatated system...' AHHHHH! AND then... when I finally got the guy, I wouldn't let him go. I explained the situation. He gave me the number and I didn't believe him (I was thinking Nebraska University and told him as much). "Now... what's this number that you just gave me, Sir?" "That's our number." "Well, is it the corporate office or what?" "Customer Service." "And where is that, Sir? Because the last time my friend called you guys and you gave her a number to call, it ended up being a universtity in Nebraska... and you see, well... it's a BIG deal for her to call from China and I just want to make sure this number is correct." "It's correct." I didn't want to let him go... you know how that is after you've on hold forever and just want a direct line to that person and you never really feel comfortable getting off the phone?
Wow... what a horrible experience! I think, these companies should HIRE SOME FRICKIN' PEOPLE!!!
