It's official; I have the weirdest cold ever. I just feel so tired. I just want to sleep, sleep, sleep. Today is better than yesterday, but I still feel uber groggy. I am listening to a new song I found this morning. I diggit. It's way experimental and has a lot of changes.

Went to a volleyball game with King and Melissa on Sunday. The Tianjin team played against the Army team. The Tianjin team is the best in the country and had 3 of its members on the olympic team that took the gold last summer; numbers 4, 6, and 15. Tianjin won the first, third, and fourth games, winning the match. They played 4 games in under an hour and a half. They were quick! They were going for the best 3 of 5 games, but did not have to play the last. While at sports events Chinese yell; 加油!jia1 you2 which means add oil. The guys in front of us asked us what it meant and the only thing we could think of was "let's go!" So then they started to say it sporadically. It was cute. It's was really exhilarating to be with such a huge group, all so active in the event. I was cheering for the Tianjin team. The last time I was at a sports event I was fortunate to see alfaspider's only winning game of the season!

The stadium was huge and PACKED.

The Tianjin team is in orange and the Army team is in blue.

The uniform situation is a little odd. The one person not on each side that is not in the same color uniform as the rest is allowed to move around as they want with their team and does not have to do the usual volleyball rotation. It is just odd that each team had the other's team colors on to tell their floaters apart from the regular team members. At first, to me, it looked like the the teams were mixed up.

After the game Melissa made some connections. It's her dream gig to teach English to the Chinese olympic volleyball team. It just might happen!
