(no subject)
Yesterday I GOT MAIL! It is the first mail I have gotten since I came back in September, and it was a package, super exciting! I must say it totally made my day, hell were talking week here! Thank you xiaochao! She sent a most interesting gift of a local craft and a handwritten card with a complete description of how to use it. I love to receive hand written correspondence. REALLY! And the present is awesomely cute too. It is a tissue box cover that is pretty blue floral silk pattern with jade money dangles on each end. I don't use tissues in boxes now, but I will eventually. This will be something I will keep and be proud to place in my home, whenever I get a real home anyway, could be years from now, but anyway, it's happening. I was surprised when I found out that she sent me a package. Of all the people I would have thought, turned out to be my buddy xiaochao from Beijing. Right on!
Other good news: mission PCV is in the works...
1. Background info just needs to be scanned to me, it has already been picked up, thank you alfaspider
2. Got a trade in the works for my diplomas and transcripts, thank you tropical_hermit
3. Got a lead on a letter of reference, it's in action! Spoke with my old boss today and he is going to write one for me, two more to go...
