good news: I just found out about the photo software Picasa 2 and so far so good. I dig it!

bad news: I still WANT to smoke.

deep breaths, nin! and now you can do that! isn't that great? here's a trick i read somewhere... when you really want to smoke... take a deep, long inhale and release it... repeat a few times. this will physically change your whole state. swear to it... it calms you and also somehow takes the place of inhaling smoke. try it! good luck, sisterlove! :)

it's so WEIRD!

Do you want me to send you that book? Do you think you are going to quit?
I do the inhale thing you mentioned, sometimes, but sometimes I forget. It is a good idea though.

You know people here don't really want to hear about what I am going through, they just want to say oh that's great, or keep it up, and then move on to another topic. I can understand why they would not be interested in the topic and I am usually ok having a conversation like that sometimes, but this is something I REALLY need to talk about. I guess I really need to just find someone here in my position.

yeah, i'm going to stop.. i don't think i need the book though, thanks. :) how's that working for you though? sounds painful! i'm sorry there's no one there to talk to about it. use your journal! i did when i stopped for that week, remember? i babbled and babbled and amused myself until i fell asleep and then babbled about wanting them some more the next day? yeah, it really helped.

When do you think you will stop?
What method will you use?

I don't remember you writing a lot, not too much anyway, but I do remember you writing about your firework dreams. Crazy stuff.

I do read your cuts, ALL of them, I do tend to be a tad forgetful though. A good memory is something that I have always admired in an individual.

Cool the patches, when is your start date? are you ready?

do i hear a tone?....:P

Exciting, keep me posted!

The last thing you want to is quit b4 YOU are ready. I really want this and it is finally worth the struggle to get it. It won't work for you until you are ready. It sucks, but I know that I am ready.

i only smoked once or twice for fun and accurately speaking ,i don't think i can smoke. It is quite easy to say "smoker should quit and keep it up" but i never think it can be possibly done until one of my male colleagues did so for the last whole 2004.He is more than 40 years old and smoked for more than 15 years.he tried to quit for several times befor he succeeded.i quote what he said after the toughest early days of his quit,"i totally forget my urge to smoke".
so if you think you can quit smoking you can.

Thanks for your words Chao, I can really relate to them. I am thinking that pretty soon I will have forgotten totally about smoking and it will be out of my life forever :)

I HOPE
