holy crap - did you find sideways in china? was it a hong kong movie theatre copy? i saw a random preview on one of the special features of some dvd i bought and i've been dying to see it ever since...
Nope no theater copy. It is a promotional copy and really good quality too. The "do not duplicate for screening purpose only" banner only comes up once or twice through the whole movie.
It is so good. I love the words. They is so real. The characters say the stuff that you hear in real life, but not usually in film. It's the only thing I have watched since I got back from vacation. btw Kunming was so AWESOME, I can't believe that you actually lived there!

About the movie, it should still be playing in the theater, I looked on their website earlier today and it said it was AND it has a bunch of oscar nominations so I am thinking you will get to see it WHILE YOU ARE HOME :)
